number of years experience in ATG - 1-2
Minimum 5 years of extensive web based Java development experience in a team environment.
* Web development using J2EE technology, Spring Framework, web service (SOAP, RESTFul), DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, SQL, and DBMS/Oracle
* Object Oriented design and implementation.
* ATG commerce platform experience
* Team player, experienced in an agile development environment
* Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with business analysts/system analysts.
* Able to comprehend business needs and concerns and integrate that understanding into design and implementation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently) * Extensive experience in design and implement ecommerce web applications
* Expert level in Java web development, skills include: JSP, servlet, JSTL, JMS, JMX, JAXB, JAX-WS, CXF and JAX-RS
* Open source tools and frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, CXF, ANT, MAVEN, JUNIT, JMeter, Log4j, StAX, TrAX, and ActiveMQ and experience in one or more of the following languages: python, C/C++, perl, and shell scripts.
* Experience in using one or more version control systems for branching and merging such as SVN and CVS.
* Experience in web UI development – HTML, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, AJAX, and jQuery.
* Experience developing applications in a Linux operating system
* Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, including Core J2EE Design Patterns and UML
