Project:  Web Services development using IBM WPS

Job Title:SOA Senior Developer

Relevant Experience (Yrs) :5+ Years

Technical/ Managerial  Skills :

•3-4 years of experience in WID/WPS development

•Strong configuration and design skills in IBM WebSphere Process Server (WPS) and  WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (WESB)

•Participation in each phase of WPS and WESB implementations

•In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the WPS and WESB coupled with good understanding of the business processes

•Has experience in implementing BPEL flows, Mediation flows, MQ interface, and other features of WPS and WESB

•Strong technical foundation including; Java, XML/XSD, Web services, etc., understanding of relational database concepts and structures, knowledge of SQL, structured system analysis and design methods, etc.

•Understands Web services and available technologies that are utilized to transport data in an enterprise environment

•A proven resource in defining systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines

•Familiar with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), Web service performance measurement and improvement concepts

 

Preferred Experience

•IBM certified WebSpehere Integration Developer (WID 7.0)

•Airline domain

Roles & Responsibilities

•Ownership of all technical aspects of Integration solution, including Design, Development/Configuration, Systems integration and custom code, that support business requirements and drive key business decisions

•Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and build, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement

•Seek out ways to utilize WPS and WESB features to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace

•Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code

•Operational support of Integration solution: resolving common problems and trouble tickets
