Position: Mainframe/Cobol Developer

Location: Bloomington, MN

Length: 6 months

Start: ASAP

Interview: phone

Rate: $45/HR all inclusive

 

Responsibilities:

1. Analyzing, designing, developing and testing for all aspects of mainframe applications.

2. Data analysis, data migration, component development and integration, reporting, performance, batch jobs and testing.

3. Will assist the project team with IT related tasks as directed by the IT Lead.

 

Required Experience:

1.       Must have a minimum of 4 years experience working with COBOL.

2.       We are looking for any one of the following – Oracle, Unix or Microfocus (exposure is good enough)

3.       Must have DB2/SQL background.

4.       Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a technical expert centered around a technology, technologies or a portfolio of applications-

5.       Candidate is able to work without assistance and can provide leadership for others.
