Position: Expert VB.NET Developer
Duration: 3 months
Start Date: 2/15
Location: Olympia, WA
Interviews: In Person
Required Skills
A bachelor's degree in information technology/computer science or minimum 8 years' experience in Information Technology Minimum 5 years' experience working in a VB.Net and ASP.Net environment Minimum 5 years' experience working with SQL Server 2005 or above.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in writing store procedures and SQL scripts.
Minimum of 3 years' experience creating reports in SQL Server Reporting Services Minimum 2 years' experience working with Visual studio 2008 or above
Desired Skills
Experience working on public website with multiple browser compatibility.
Experience working in Visual Studio 2010 Experience working in SQL Server 2008 Knowledge of MS Office suite Knowledge of MS Visio Knowledge of Case Complete (UML documentation tool)
Specific duties include:
Work independently or as a member of IT project teams to:
Perform analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of software using VB.net, SQL, and XML.
Analyze store procedures, triggers and other SQL in SQL Server.
Analyze Reports in SQL Reporting Services.
Obtain an understanding of key business needs and work directly with end users to create effective solutions.
Elicit, understand, and document complex business processes and translate them into solutions.
Interact and consult with senior and midlevel managers of business units, as well as key Subject Matter Experts.
Exercise excellent communication skills for communicating various system issues and meeting the customer's expectations.
Participate in workshop/interview meetings with business/application owners and end users
Effectively manage time to assure commitments are met on time.
Application Integration of .NET environments, and third party tools.
Employ source code repository check-in processes.
Employ a strong team-oriented focus
Additional duties may be assigned as determined by Project Manager.
Documentation of work to include:

Technical documentation
Project Estimation Documents
