Senior Java Lead Developer
Schaumberg , IL
6+ Months Contract
Local Only
Responsibilities:
Authoring design specifications containing pseudocode, class and/or sequence diagrams.
Creating & executing unit test plans & unit test scripts. Writing new software in Java/J2EE.
Debugging & taking ownership of previously written software in Java/J2EE.
Needs:
At least 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE. Recent experience with REST ful webservices, SOAP, XML, JAX-RS, Jersey, JSON, XML, JUnit, JMeter, Spring Framework, IntelliJ and design patterns, such as, IOC (Inversion Of Control), DI (Dependency Injection), Service Provider, Service Locator, etc. Good interpersonal & communication skills.
Ability to work independently & collaboratively.
Ability to communicate design rationale.
Ability to prioritize & manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to develop new approaches to design problems.
Must be organized & have an eye for detail.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
Additional Information
Must be willing to travel up to 25% to Milwaukee, WI
