Job Description:
Role: Java Developer
Will be on production support/maintenance team
Position requirements/expected deliverables are as follows:
· Minimum experience of 5 years with Java and JEE, JSP/ Servlets, EJB, JMS and MVC framework
· Hands on experience with JDBC, JPA, SQL and relational database systems to implement Data Access Layer are required.
· Good knowledge and understanding of XML and XSD
· Web Services development experience is desired
· Developer productivity tools such as Eclipse IDE, unit testing framework and rational clear case configuration management tools is highly desirable.
· Experience working with WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server is desired
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to understand/articulate the root cause of software problems
· Preference will be given to the resource who has previously served in a customer support role handling client requests
