QA Lead

Please do not submit bench consultants as this project would start from November 1, 2012(need consultants who are coming out of the project this month end.)
Need to work out of prome vendor office in Montevile, MJ for the client
First few weeks the timing would be 5 am to 3 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, then can work remote
WORK TIMINGS
Tuesday and Thursday – 5AM to 3PM
Rest of the days 9-5
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop reports from QC to track progress and identify trends
Run daily status meetings and provides guidance to team members
Develops and maintains QA Process Flow
Follow up with third party vendors may be needed , ensure that the proper documentation is done
Cross browser platform integration and regression testing is required
Provide support and guidance on the QA process to team members
Monitors and tracks process/procedures to ensure team adheres to high standards
Owns testing schedule and related assignments for both development and maintenance and support projects
Advise/signoff on testing schedules
Extracts reports from QC and provides status to Supervisor (total open/closed /severities etc…)
Writes and maintains test scripts
Reviews QC defect status; updates/closes out defects
Performs modifications to QC to support new/existing projects
Maintains tracking of all Live errors and schedules for release to production
Coordinates activities with Tech Lead and Project Lead to ensure product is ready for launch
Works with Tech Lead, Project Lead and Supervisor to scope out future releases and schedule their release to live
Performs Smoke Tests of Production Deployments to ensure application is functioning and provides status to team.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the IT Quality Assurance field
QA Processes knowledge (SDLC)
Solid knowledge of, and experience with, the Mercury Quality Center tool
Understanding of quality processes and process documentation
Background in best practice analysis, benchmarking, and continuous improvement
Strong analytical skills
Strong Communication skills
Good presentation skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint, excel)
