We have an urgent requirement of Senior ETL Developer with one of our direct client in IOWA.
Title :ETL Developer
Location :Des Moines, Iowa
Duration :11 months
Description:
This position will be a member of a team but will need to work independently. They will report to a Senior Architect/DBA but will require self-direction. Job responsibilities will span ETL development and database modeling/development. Advanced skills in writing complex Structured Query Language (SQL) queries are required. This candidate should be an expert in creating, modifying and maintaining SSIS packages which will be used to move data from source systems to the data warehouse backend.
ETL developer that will make extensive use of data flow tasks that extracts large volumes of data from disparate data systems.
• Experience in interacting with customers regarding application requirements.
• Strong business writing and interpersonal skills necessary for customer contact.
• Proficient in development of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.
• Proficient using MS SQL 2005 or later and writing relational database queries and stored procedures using SQL.
• Experience working on a large scale data warehouse implementation.
• Experience in completing unit and system testing.
• Addressing data quality issues;
• Developing error checking and resolution routines;
ETL processes – internal/external sources Required
Strong experience with data transformation Required
Convert other Databases to SQL Desired
Load data to OLAP databases Desired
Query performance tuning Desired
Experience in interacting with customers regarding application requirements Required
