Mainframe Developer

 6 month plus

Georgetown, KY

 

Resource will perform analysis, development, testing, implementation and support for mission critical systems on mainframe environment.

Extensive experience (7+ years) developing systems using COBOL, JCL, DB2.

 

                      - TSO ISPF, JCL, COBOL, IBM Utilities, DB2, SQL, Endevor, Jobtrac.

                       - Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio for documentation.

                      - Ability to independently develop mainframe programs/jobs based on requirements.

                      - Strong testing experience (unit, system, integration, load)

                      - Project implementation using a formal development methodology

                      - Strong documentation and communication skills (written and verbal)

                      - Ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time and prioritize tasks

                      - Previous experience with mission critical system is a plus.
