Duration: 6 months +
Location: Dallas, TX
Rate : $ 40/hr on C2C
Job Overview:
Opening in Dallas, Texas for development, support and maintenance of web based application, which caters to the retail business. Requirement is primarily for .net 4.0 web developer for development and support of Customer service representative based application which is interacting with mainframe, SQL and surrounding systems. The successful candidate should have a good track record in development and be prepared to spend time supporting the production system. They will be required to demonstrate a mature and constructive approach to troubleshooting.
Candidate having Exposure to the Credit card industry/ Knowledge of Banking will be an added advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Development duties will include
- Implementation, coding , design and documentation phase.
- Supporting the live application in the production environment
- Communication with users to gather requirements and analyze/address issues
- Investigating and fixing bugs / Participating in test execution cycles
- Interact with other technology groups as needed like mainframe, DB2, etc.
- Coordinate with users and developers located in different geographic regions
Skill, Experience & General information Required:
Basic Technical Requirements
- Expertise in ASP .Net 4.0 (4 years plus).
- Strong in Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, C#, VB scripting, XML (4 years plus).
- Strong programming skills with emphasis on SQL and stored procedures.
- Experience with mainframe Interaction through Messaging Queue will be added advantage
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to the Credit card industry/ Knowledge of Banking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
