Title: Sr. Business Analyst
Summary:
Looking for a strong BA with skills translating business requirements into IT requirements. Any SalesForce.com or Service Cloud experience is a plus. Lotus Notes experience would also be beneficial but not mandatory. The role will split time between Client Services Workflow and Sales Performance mgmt.
Specify and model requirements to analyze stakeholder and/or organizational needs.
Lead the prioritization of requirements based on business priority, factoring in technical feasibility, resource estimates for solutions, and other criteria.
Assemble and organize the requirements documentation package to ensure they are effectively communicated, understood by, approvable and usable by stakeholders and solutioning teams.
Represent and articulate requirements in order to bring stakeholders to a common understanding.
Resolve issues emerging from requirements elicitation and analysis.
Create and maintain relationships between business objectives, requirements, and solution components by identifying and documenting the lineage of each requirement including backward/forward traceability.
Determine and plan the approach/techniques to apply in the development of the solution options and build consensus towards a single solution.
Assess proposed solutions to determine how closely they meet stakeholder and solution requirements.
Partner in the development of business cases with cost and benefit analyses of alternatives for a proposed solution.
Manage solution scope to ensure proposed requirements support business goals and objectives.
Facilitate impact analysis process to evaluate proposed requirement changes.
Assess readiness of the organization to make effective use of a new solution.
Support business organizational change management efforts. Partner with stakeholders to evaluate functioning solutions to determine the value delivered to business goals and objectives.
Identify opportunities for improvement.
Analyze applications, technologies, and business domains to fully understand the needs, problems, and opportunities.
Assess the enterprise to identify capability or technology gaps that prevent it from meeting business objectives and achieving strategic goals.
Utilize a working knowledge of internal capabilities and industry software trends to identify new solution opportunities
Job Requirements Education/Qualifications Minimum Required:
BS/BA degree in scientific, business or technology related field; or AA degree with equivalent related experience in position.
Experience Minimum Required:
Active working experience (5 + years) as a Business Analyst.
Demonstrated experience in working with customers, identifying/understanding their needs, and formally documenting business requirements.
Demonstrated capability to forge strong working relationships with business and IT staff.
Strong working knowledge of IT capabilities and industry software trends.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts.
Familiarity with business process modeling and design.
Familiarity with implementation of global IT solutions/technologies within call center environments Familiarity with computer system validation concepts.
Demonstrated capability to support an organizational culture that fosters teamwork.
Strong learning agility and desire for personal development.
Skilled in conducting presentations and leading meetings.
Proficient self-management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
