I have a new requirement with my direct client in Allentown, PA for an ETL  Developer/Designer who has strong Informatica and Oracle skills.  This position requires strong communication skills since the consultant will be meeting with end users.

 

Any experience with ETL Architecture or Hp-UX or Linux will be a strong plus for this job.

 

This position is 9 months to start and has a strong chance of extension .  The client prefers candidates who can come for a F2F second round interview but it may not be necessary.

Job Description:

 

This is an opportunity for ETL/Informatica developer starting early October.

Acting as  ETL designer, and developer for BI solutions. Specific activities include:

·         Work with business requirements analyst to identify and understand source data systems

·         Map source system data to data warehouse models

·         Develop and test ETL processes

·         Tune ETL processes for maximum throughput

·         Define and capture metadata and rules associated with ETL processes

·         Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements

·         Hands on experience with Informatica, (v8.6/V9 preferred)

·         Hands on experience with Oracle 11g - expert in SQL

·         Experience with HP-UX and Red Hat Linux a plus

·         Strong communication skills

·         Team oriented

·         Strong relationship skills, strong ability to influence and negotiate
