Job title : Natural/Adabas Programmer
Duration : New Castle, DE
Location : 1 Year
The Programmer will be required to work with the Judicial Information Center to develop interfaces and programatic changes to support the requirements related tothe Delaware Courts Automation Project (DCAP).
The Delware Judiciary is working towards the further automation, as well as, integrating the case management systems that support court processes. This position will be tasked with development, testing, and post production support for code within the DCAP eFile Module.
Specifically, this position will be working on the mainframe logic and web services that will interact with a 3rd part eFiling tool.
Years of Relevant Experience: 8 plus years
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study preferred.
Role Description:
All roles specified in PR3 plus the following:
•This is a professional level non-supervisory position which may require coordination of programming activities being conducted by the team
•Confers with other business and technical personnel to resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy, or feasibility of computer processing.
•Works with necessary personnel to determine if modifications are necessary with interested personnel to determine necessity for modifications or enhancements.
•Leverages excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop new business process and programming solutions as directed by business and technical stakeholders.
Prior experience is desired in:
-Development in a NATURAL/ADABAS environment
-Program implementation/modification including problem solving definition, system analysis, design,and implementation in a multi-user environment
-Experience in creating and/or modifying financial and case management rpts or programs by using acceptable accounting procedures and practices
-Experience using one of the higher level programming languages with experience in the following programming language a plus: SQL, PL/SQL, Adabas/Natural, Visual Basic.NET
-Experience using database related processing and access methods.
Experience with CICS, Mainframe webservices, Broker, TSO, Predict, N2O, Changeman
