Description
A Raleigh, NC based contract Web Engineer (ERP Systems engineer) position intended to assist a team of IT Professionals to implement components and solutions in support of the SAP ERP solution that is being implemented at the bank.
Primary Duties
-Provide System administration responsibilities for SAP Netweaver application server
-Meet with solutions architects, core team, select members of the IT team, developers, and project office personnel to ensure the necessary infrastructure in place to support implementation of our SAP solution.
-The engineering and implementation of the web components within the SAP solution, utilizing high level design documents as a blueprint that have been created for the SAP project.
-Insuring the solutions are engineered in compliance with current BB&T standards, utilizing automated practices wherever possible.
-Assist with the selection of additional Web Engineering team members for the SAP project.
-Provide assistance as necessary to other web team members.
-Status reporting to management with regard to the SAP project.
Skills Required
-10 – 15 years progressive IT experience, working within large organizations
-5 – 10 years SAP Netweaver application server administration & SAP Netweaver process integration administration
-SAP NetWeaver Administration Certification required.
-3 – 5 years SAP Netweaver application server design, topology and planning work
-Working knowledge of Netweaver application server
-Scripting/Automation experience preferred
-Comprehensive SAP product knowledge specifically,
oNetweaver
oBank Analyzer
oBusiness Warehouse
oEnterprise Portal
oBusiness Objects
oECC – Enterprise Core Component
oSolution Manager
-Experience in engineering solution integrations between SAP to non-SAP solutions
-Experience developing, modifying, and executing IT strategies within the SAP product portfolio suite
-Experience with documenting low level design for complex solutions
-Solid understanding of system administration, operating systems and networking
-Strong communication and teaming skills
-"Big Picture" thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole
-Strong analytical skills
-Strong organizational skills
-Critical thinking skills
-Initiative and self-motivation abilities
