Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or closely related field and 3+ years of experience, OR a combination of education and relevant work experience to total 7+ years.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Oracle database development and administration (version 10g and higher).
3+ years of relevant work experience with PeopleTools and the corresponding Application Server and Web Server tiers of a PeopleSoft environment.
Demonstrated Oracle database knowledge.
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager version 11g and higher.
Demonstrated knowledge of UNIX/Linux including Virtual Machines
Excellent DB performance tuning and capacity planning skills.
Demonstrated experience in supporting 24X7 high volume production OLTP databases.
Demonstrated examples of experience using business/office application software.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PeopleSoft Human Resources and/or Student Admin.
Familiar with Firewall, VM and NAS concepts.
Experience with one or more of the following Oracle technologies is considered a plus: OEM grid control, multi-site replication, RAC, ASM, or RMAN configurations.
Experience running PeopleSoft applications on Exadata.
Understanding of standard practices for Software Development Lifecycle Management.
Applicable Oracle or PeopleSoft certification(s), such as Oracle OCP, PeopleSoft Certified Professional.
Demonstrated examples of experience using business/office application software.
