Job Description:

·         Experience creating, maintaining, and executing the following, in conjunction with release stakeholders (PMs, QA, Dev, Support)

·           Release charter; release scope, milestones, and list of key stakeholders

·           Branch and merge plan

·           Build and deployment plan

·           Release notes

·           Release post-mortem

·         Experience creating implementation / blackout plans

·           Working with all stakeholders to create skeleton plan and then flesh out with specific steps; based on SOPs + release-specific details

·           Needs to understand and address dependencies across systems, processes, teams

·         Experience executing implementation / backout steps in pre-production (test) environment

·           Dry-run before production, working out remaining issues within the plan

·         Experience executing implementation / backout plans in production

·           Scheduling required resources and ensuring the release team, as a whole, it ready to go

·           Coordinating execution of plan steps in production

·           Escalation and triage when issues arise

·         Strong communication skills; both verbal and written

·           Clear and concise communication

·          Timely status updates to release team

·          Experience communicating with all level, including senior

·         Proactive / aggressive approach

·          Keeps things moving along in meetings; takes charge when item it's getting attention or escalates

 Doesn't let things fall through the cracks; clear ownership and accountability
