Role: Web Designer w/ User Experience (UX) background
Duration: 3 + Months
Location:  Milwaukee, WI
Rate: $80/hr

DESCRIPTION: 

A direct client of ours is seeking an experienced Senior Web Designer for a 3 month contract. The Interactive Web Designer will work with the Design Team and internal clients to concept, design, and build interactive web content. This includes web applications and pages, mobile apps, infographics, interactive pieces and online branding. All content must deliver an exceptional user experience and effectively articulate the end client's brand. 

We’re looking for an experienced individual who has a substantial interactive web design portfolio that highlights work you’ve done in the commercial or private sector. You must be able to deliver content from concept to final product.

You should also have: 

• Three or more years of experience creating website or mobile web content and user experiences. 
• Exceptional skills in CSS and HTML, including HTML5, CSS3, CSS media queries 
• Exceptional skills in aesthetic design. 
• Proficiency in javascript (jQuery) and CSS manipulations. 
• Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, User Experience, Web Design, Communications or a related field. 
• Experience designing and developing mobile websites and applications, including 
o PhoneGap 
o Familiarity with Android/IOS 
o jQueryMobile 
o Ajax 
• The ability to take broad design direction and move it to a specific design implementation. 
• The ability to meet deadlines, sometimes with short notice. 
• Strong communication skills and an eagerness to be a team player who collaborates and helps others. 
• The ability to juggle multiple projects with short turnaround times on a daily basis. 
• A passion for web technology and emerging trends.
