Job Description
General duties will include –
• Maintenance of a production system, monitoring of automated batch jobs, bug fixing and coordinating releases of new functionalities.
• Delivery of support services and complying with SLA.
• Coordination with upstream and downstream application leads in a global environment with team located at more than one location.
• Coordination with Incident Manager for the application related high severity issues.
• Gathering requirements and providing high level estimates for the change requests initiated by Global Process Owners of business.
• Providing impact assessment for the approved changes.
• Resource management for the application support team.
• Process Improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for communicating with Business owners.
• Providing the health and status quo to the senior management.
Skills Required:
• Intermediate/Expert knowledge of OBIEE.
• Intermediate functional knowledge of Finance & HR.
• Intermediate working knowledge of PL/SQL and Unix.
• Effective problem solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of high profile customer handling. Need to work closely with VP and Directors.
• Experience of co-coordinating and supervising the offshore team in an outsourced model (offshore-onsite model).
• Can work independently with minimal supervision.
• 6+ years of total IT experience with 4+ years of OBIEE experience.
