Role: Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse Tester
Number of Openings: 2
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 6 months (through end of January 2013)
Responsibilities
· Develop and run test cases based on business use cases and requirements
· Document test cases and results in Rational Quality Manager
· Validate data at both the database and BI layers (i.e., through reports and interactive dashboards)
· Work with business users to plan and execute user acceptance testing
Requirements
· BSc in Computer Science or related area (or equivalent professional experience)
· Testing and data validation experience with BI/DW systems is required (3 years minimum)
· Working knowledge of dimensional data models and SQL
· Experience with Rational Quality Manager (RQM) or similar test planning/execution tool is required (2 years minimum)
· Experience with Oracle (OBIEE and BI Publisher) and/or MicroStrategy BI tools (1 year minimum)
· Experience validating data warehouses sourced from PeopleSoft HRMS or Finance is a preferred
· Excellent speaking and writing skills
Role: QA – PeopleSoft
Position Requirement:
Provide guidelines for high-quality architecture, design and test deliverables for PeopleSoft projects, and review these deliverables against quality standards.
Main Duties:
· Conduct meetings with architects, project managers and contract staff on PeopleSoft projects aimed at assessing required deliverables and providing guidance on their quality standards.
· Participate in informal and formal reviews of architectural, design and testing artifacts. Evaluate artifacts for approval.
· Evaluate the quality of designs and ensure their traceability to requirements.
· Working with the QA Strategy and Planning lead, ensure that testing coverage is sufficient, test plans, cases, scenarios and scripts are of sufficiently good quality, and are traceable to architectural and design artifacts.
Experience/Qualifications:
· Five years' experience configuring and deploying PeopleSoft.
· Understanding of both financial and HR applications
· Strong QA background.
Role: Peoplesoft Developers
· Development, execution and testing of projects related to developing and maintaining PeopleSoft Financials application.
· Strong experience supporting PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 to 9.1.
· Bachelor's degree preferred
· 7+ years of experience with PeopleTools 8.x, SQR; SQL and Oracle database architecture.
· Knowledge of Benefits, Payroll, and HR module functionality.
· Strong Application Engine .
· Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HRMS system and business processes.
· Understanding of PSQuery reporting.
· Rational Toolset desired.
· Create scripts for automated testing.
· Experience with PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (web servers, application servers and Process Schedulers).
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Independent and self-starter
· Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
