Duties: Prototyping features for Symantec Appliances

-     Designing, constructing, unit and system testing features

-     Create technical documents

-     Consulting with other engineers to provide expert opinions

 

Skills:

-         Storage, networking drivers installation, debugging

-         Linux installation

-         Linux administration in-depth knowledge

-         USB knowledge

-         Boot loaders

-         LVM expertise

-         Ext3 FS

-         Perl scripting

-         Shell scripting

-         Experience with Install new servers and rebuild existing servers

-         Configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in     accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.

-         Linux System tuning.
