Business System Analyst with Supply chain

Role and Responsibilities:
o Business and system level requirements
o Scope change
o Testing strategy, test case development and/or execution in any
assigned test phase (i.e., unit integration, system integration, user
acceptance, deployed application)
o Will work under the leadership of the Project Manager for all project
task related estimates, and actuals reporting for delivery of assigned
tasks from the Plan Phase forward.  Includes the communication of any
concerns and  issues that may affect project schedule and/or user
acceptance of the developed application, early on, to Project Manager.
o Will assist in the identification of any new or enhanced
functionality required by acting as the primary customer advocate within IT
on system implementations and process re-engineering efforts in assigned
project areas.
o Will be a key participant in data mapping and documentation.
Required skills:
o Familiarity and demonstrated background with Version 5 and later
Ventyx Asset Suite and specifically Supply Chain functionality including
but not limited to Purchasing, Inventory, Contract Mgmt
o Facilitation of elicitation/analysis sessions in both group and
individual (1:1) settings in order to create and finalize accurate
requirements and test documentation/approach.
o Strong business analysis skills.
o Desire to be empowered and accountable for proposal level project
prioritization information, through developing and maintaining a tight
relationship with the customer and their business needs.
o Experience constructing visual forms of requirements communication.
o Familiarity with data analysis and logical data modeling
o Experience with test strategy and planning for application
integration / system / UAT testing.
o Experience with integration testing of applications interfacing to
multiple enterprise systems.
o Ability to coordinate testing activity in accordance with test plan.
o Attention to detail and ability to thoroughly document a test plan,
test scripts, and expected/actual results.
Preferred skills:
o Prefer specific knowledge of Asset Suite Version 6.
o Background in documentation and analysis of data and reporting
requirements.
o Understanding of relational databases.
o Experience in the utility industry.
o Basic SQL skills and technical aptitude to leverage available query
tools to view, analyze, and manipulate data.
o Experience with establishing / configuring / scrubbing data for
application go-live.
