1) Informatica Lead 2 positions

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant consulting experience
• Lead the team of Informatica Developers
• A minimum of 7 years experience in large scale data warehouses
• A minimum of 6 years experience with Informatica PowerCenter and
experience with PowerCenter 9 or 8 in particular
• Proven history in team development and mentoring
• Expert data modeling skills (i.e. conceptual, logical and physical
model design, experience with Operation Data Stores, Enterprise Data
Warehouses and Data Marts)
• Expert RDBMS knowledge of Oracle (release 9i, 10g, 11g) and
Microsoft (SQL Server 2008)
• Experience with interfaces such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, PL/SQL Developer
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with client
management skills

2) Data Modeler 1 position

Job Description:
Skills & Experience:
Data modeling - 5 years
• OLAP tool / design experience - 6 yrs
• ETL design experience - 6 yrs
Roles and responsibilities:
Business requirements gathering Understand business functionalities &
implement in conceptual / logical / physical model Responsible for
data modeling
• Responsible for solution and technical design (ETL & Reporting
semantic layer design) and also work closely with the ETL / Reporting
team to ensure unified BI solution and design
• Understand source systems for BI and participate in data quality
analysis & data profiling activities
• Validation of BI reports
• Interact with SMEs to validate design
• Interface with offshore team to ensure that data model is understood
completely


3) Data Architect 1 position

Experience Required-
At least 8 years of experience leading resources to develop cross
subject area integrated solutions through consensus building and
negotiation.
At least 8 years' experience establishing standards and policies for
information asset classes, and collaboration with application teams to
inventory and classify existing information assets.
At least 8 years of experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving
complex problems pertaining to data architecture.

Roles & Responsibilities-
1. Develops and maintains conceptual, logical, and physical database
architecture. Ensures project adherence to company wide data and
database standards and policies
2. Leads database design (physical & logical) and data model for
enterprise initiatives, large projects, and high impact / high cost
projects.
3. Provides extensive technical, strategic advice and guidance to
senior managers and technical resources in the creation and
implementation of new data standards and databases or changes to
existing ones.
4. Collaborates with the Enterprise Architecture team to establish and
implement strategic initiatives. Works with both technical and
business stakeholders to understand the data needs for projects.
Attends requirement sessions when necessary, communicating any
concerns to project leadership.
5. Makes recommendations and assesses proposals for database optimization
6. Reviews and assesses proposals requesting changes or upgrades to
the existing databases, and provides recommendations as appropriate.
7. Reviews project database to ensure that they are built in-line with
the stated design
8. Translates complex technical terminology, concepts and issues in
terms understandable to technical and nontechnical management and
resources staff
9. Reviews work of Data Architects to ensure use of best practices,
and provides input to performance evaluations of Data Architects.
10. Expert skills with database management tools, methodologies, and
technologies exhibited through a portfolio that demonstrates best in
class end-to-end data models that include multiple large and small
scale data sources and complex applications that may include data
warehouses and transactional systems.
