Required skills:
Need at least 5-7 years of experience
Must be an expert in websphere installation, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting.
Expert in installing and administering websphere application server.
strong knowledge of oracle as a backend database is a plus.
strong working experience in pega environment is a plus.
experience using quest fog light performance analysis tool.
troubleshooting expert – knows what causes slowdowns in the system.
administer and support various production and non-production environments utilizing the following websphere suite of products * websphere application server, websphere mq, websphere message broker.
set up application performance monitoring using apm tools and perform performance tuning, problem investigation and resolution in coordination with the development and support teams.
evaluate, install, upgrade, configure and maintain middleware components to support the provisioning systems applications.
script routinely executed production tasks for these environments and automates execution where possible.
create necessary documentation to build, administer, and support all environments.
create and maintain support documentation for on-call and support personnel to monitor and troubleshoot production issues.
manage own time and time of others while working in coordination with various teams like database administrators, system administrators, and other it teams.
provide on-call support as required.
windows experience a must
