Core Java, J2EE, Multithreading, Oracle, EJB, XML (Junit is a plus). GOOD

Our client provides financial institutions a comprehensive computer
architecture system to unify their payments systems. They are currently
seeking several Sr. Java Developers to work within project teams,
implementing robust and efficient code against a design in a timely manner.
There will be frequent liaison across the business, but specifically with
business analysts, the team lead and other developers. Some client
interaction is required and the role has visibility across the business and
externally.
What You Bring to the Team:
• Deep understanding of Java and SQL -- you can produce code that is
robust, performs well and is reusable
• 4+ years Java and 2+ years JEE, which must be recent
• 2+ years Oracle or other RDBMS experience
• Multithreading experience
• 1+ years XML and EJB
• Must have experience with Application Servers
• Develops to standards and understands the impact of changes across
the product
• Has a solid understanding of payments and seeks to expand that
knowledge
• Works to deadlines and can escalate issues effectively
• Discusses aspects of the design with the architect, team lead and
business analysts to check understanding and raise concerns
• Ability to write functional tests
• Provides production support and can resolve issues when required
• WebLogic or WebSphere is desirable
• Experience with payments or banking is desirable, but not essential
