Job Details:
Role: Cloud SME Consultant
Location: - Dallas, TX
Duration: - 12+ month
Lead technical cloud architecture as well as implementation including hardware as a service as well as software as a service.
Responsibilities Include:
· 10-12 years of overall IT experience.
· Resource should have prior experience in application and hardware cloud solutions.
· Should have expert skills in production application Java support, application monitoring, UNIX system administration, Software as a service, and Hardware as a service.
· Must have strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and be able to prioritize and handle multiple outstanding tasks.
· Hands on experience with modern frameworks, programming models, and
· Proven collaboration skills in highly technical engineering teams
· Experience on advanced development in Application frameworks, Distributed Systems, Messaging, and Databases highly desirable
· Strong virtualization & Cloud background, experience with cloud based products highly desired
· Knowledge of one or more of the following automation tools: TPM, BladeLogic, xCAT, Chef, Puppet
· Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, KVM, XEN, OpenVZ, etc…)
· Established background in public and/or private cloud computing platforms
· Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems
· Competency in programming/scripting consistent with the capability to automate common tasks (e.g. Java, Python, Ruby, etc…)
· Current knowledge of storage technology trends (iSCSI, FCoE, SAN/NAS, Thin Provisioning, Storage Virtualization)
