Job Description:
· Undergraduate Degree in Information Systems or related discipline.
· 6 + years related experience including control and development of standards.
Skill and experience in supporting Data Warehouses.
· Competent to work at highest level of all technical phases while working on own most of the time.
· Excellent analytical, consultative, communication skills and report writing ability.
Strong Technical Skills in Database administration.
· Understanding of Database Design as well as Database Modeling.
Experience with scripting in Unix and ksh.
· Strong problem solving skills.
· Strong SQL skills.
· Experience with Database performance and tuning.
· Experience with System performance and tuning
Other responsibilities:
· Database Design (Warehouse and Data mart design)
· Database Modeling using Erwin (Physical Database Modeling)
· Creation of Database objects
· Unix and Korn Shell (ksh) scripting
· Database performance and tuning
· Operational support of Databases and Database environments
· Interaction with Database user community for break fix issues
