Hi All,       BSC Solutions Inc., a Global IT Solution provider headquartered in Troy, Michigan with operations in India and Middle East and has over 15 years of IT and consulting experience. Currently we have a need for Technical Support Specialist position to be based in Gaithersburg, MD.   Rate: $ 20/Hr, DOE Only on W2 Duration: Contract to Perm Experience: 3+ Years Location: Gaithersburg, MD (US Citizen or GC)   The Technical Support Specialist (TSS) represents as a first point of contact to all callers. A TSS is responsible for providing technical support to customers via the telephone and/or electronic format. A TSS is responsible for solving moderately complex issues regarding functionality and usage of products. A TSS must possess capable analysis & troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose issues and communicate with customers within the product offering and the environments they operate. Effective communication skills are required, both written and verbal. A TSS is expected approach their work in a detail-oriented, well-organized fashion and to further develop a thorough knowledge of products and understanding of standard and customer-specific EDI business processes.   Skills:   Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or related field is preferred; prior helpdesk technical support experience will also be considered.  Three to five years of demonstrated success performing the responsibilities listed for this role. Working knowledge of protocols ( FTP, SFTP). Financial services, manufacturing, or retail industry experience preferred. Technical customer support experience with e-commerce, B2B services, and/or EDI desired. Deliver exceptional service to our customers. Flexibility in work schedule including rotating, on-call support activities that may at times, involve weekends and holidays.  Three to five years of demonstrated success performing the responsibilities listed for this role as well as technical experience with commercial software such as Microsoft Office suite; excellent written and oral communication skills. Siebel experience is a plus. Bilingual skills is a must - French/English. Must be ready and willing to learn new applications. Self-motivated. Customer service oriented. Excellent analytical skill.
