Lead UNIX Admin

Sunnyvale, CA

$55/hr

• Manage and troubleshoot file systems resides on local disks, over NFS (hard/soft, Direct or via Automount), iSCSI

• Install, patch and upgrade OS software for Solaris, Red Hat Linux, AIX systems

• Monitor and maintain UNIX systems and infrastructure services such as FTP, DNS, NIS, BIND, SMTP, MTAs, Majordomo, Veritas Cluster Server, Sendmail and syslog

• Support infrastructure appliances devices such as IronPort and Infoblox 

• Install, manage and troubleshoot virtualized environment – Solaris global zone containers, AIX WPAR/LPAR and VIOs, VMware ESX

• Maintain home grown scripts and IT related application which support infrastructure (for example HRAF, Majordomo, Sendmail)

• Ensure that system documentation is kept up to date when changes are made in the environment

• Using scripting languages (PERL, shell) to automate tasks
