Position: Sr. Java Web applications Developer
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 8 Months +
JD for the Role
• Develop detailed technical designs from requirements and implement the functionality
• Develop Junit based unit tests
• Participate in code reviews.
• Guide the team towards the adoption of best practices in Eclipse and web services development
• Impart eclipse knowledge to the team and review the designs of other team members.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and make recommendations.
Here is what you'll need to be successful:
10+ years of experience developing Java and web applications
• 5+ years of Eclipse plug-in development experience
• A proven track record of developing and deploying Eclipse plug-ins.
• Excellent Java and web application development knowledge.
• Excellent Object Oriented design and analysis skills
• Experience in developing Mylyn connectors, IDE extensions is a plus.
• Knowledge of Web application Frameworks like JBOSS, SPRING or RUBY on RAILS is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience mentoring and imparting Eclipse knowledge to a team that is new to Eclipse.
• Prior experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
• BS in CS is a must. MS is desirable.
