Responsibilities:
Manages medium/large projects involving multiple technologies, functions or customers.
May have cross-functional role and enterprise-wide responsibilities.
Partner with Program Manager or Project Sponsor in developing project plans to meet project objectives
As the Project Manager, lead client or business-led projects for the purpose of meeting project objective.
Apply Project Management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements through the utilization of initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing processes.
Manage competing demands relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality; and differing stakeholder requirements and expectations to satisfactory outcomes
Participate in the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of project processes and techniques
Assure Project Quality Management through periodic project progress, process, and / or product reviews against established standards
Track and report project progress (performance), risk and issues to project stakeholders
Provide training and mentoring for projects.
Successfully complete a client project by performing the following activities:
Provide leadership and direction to core team to successfully meet overall project objectives
Ensure proper Functional Integration and Performance Testing activities are performed to achieve quality expectations
Develop and execute detailed Implementation Cutover plan
Develop and execute mock Failover / Rollback plan
Provide daily management of risks, issues, action items and scope change requests
Facilitate weekly core team meetings and bi-weekly Project Sponsor meetings
Distribute weekly project status reporting
Own accuracy and submission of project financial management reporting, including resource management updates
Oversee Project Analyst responsible for the regular maintenance of project documentation (i.e. MS Project work plan, PTO calendar, dashboards, sprint storyboards, burn down charts, etc)
Requirements:
Experience with Functional Integration Testing, Performance Testing and Implementation Cutover of eCommerce Web Applications
Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
Advanced experience with MS Project
Experience with SAP and Clarity
Preferred Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team building skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think strategically and dive into details as necessary
Ability to think and react quickly in a highly dynamic environment
Highly organized, self-directing and able to set priorities (individual and team) to meet expectations
