Job Description

3-5 Years of IT experience in developing complex ecommerce applications for the retail industry using Java/J2EE as the underlying technology. The candidate should have extensive experience in working on Apache Solr Search engine. The candidate should have implemented Apache Solr for large scale datasets and should have experience in tuning the Search engine for performance. The candidate should have experience in integrating the Apache Solr Search solution with a Commerce platform (WCS preferable).

The candidate should also have expertise in Agile methodologies with good understanding of Continuous Integration concepts. Should have experience working in fast paced Agile project teams (at least 2 such projects).

 

Mandatory Skills

·         Java/J2EE

·         Apache Solr (Integration with WCS)

·         Agile development methodologies

Nice to have Skills

·         Relational Databases (Oracle/MySQL/DB2)

·         Web Services
