Job Title:                   QA Manual Tester  Need (GC/ Citizens/ EAD"S)

Job Location:            Englewood Cliffs, NJ   (Face to Face Interview)

Duration:                   12  months

 

Software Quality Assurance Tester who will be responsible for providing hands on testing on a multi-national project with a Brazilian Client.  This tester will be accountable for executing test very early in the SDLC process in the development environment to identify and resolve blocker and critical issues prior to promoting code the QA Test environments.

 

Required Skills:

 

• Reviews and provides feedback on system specifications to identify gaps

• Participates in system design sessions

• Develops high level test cases and scenarios 

• Executes tests in the development environment with the goal to identify blocker and critical defects 

• Documents clear and detailed defect reports including steps to reproduce actual and expected results

• Proactively tracks and follows up on all open defects

• Collaborates with developers and business analysts  to analyze test results, locate problems, identify root causes and develop solutions

• Provide assistance to the Brazilian test team  & the automation engineer

• Provide accurate weekly status reporting.  

• Assists the QA Manager and Brazil Team Lead with developing test strategies and contributes to the designing the overall test plan and approach.

• Expert level knowledge of  HP's Quick Test Pro automation test tool

• Expert level knowledge of VB Script and ability to create logic using descriptive programming

• Skilled in designing framework to create re-useable functions and sub-procedures Familiar with network, ftp/sftp,db and security technologies

• Solid understanding of the Test Life Cycle and its deliverables

• Ability to review and perform analysis on system specifications and correctly interpret business and technical rules and to identify any gaps.
