Job Description:

 

·         Experience in application production support – Mandatory

o   Experience in DevOps with large scale ecommerce platform 

o   Experience with Chef  DevOps tool.

o   Experience in application production

·         Experience in working in shifts, 24 X 7 teams

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, incident management skills

·         Good Unix and Redhat Linux experience

·         Good shell and Perl scripting experience

·         Good understanding and experience of web applications running in weblogic

·         Experience with troubleshooting and triaging application issues

·         Experience in web browser development tools (HTTPAnalyzer, Fiddler, Firebug)

·         Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP

·         Experience in defect management tools (HP QC, JIRA etc)

 

Desirable:

 

·         Weblogic Admin experience

·         Experience in Site monitoring / Performance monitoring tools (Nagios, Splunk, Dynatrace etc)

·         Experience in Akamai setup and configurations

·         Experience in ATG eCommerce Platform

·         Understanding and experience in AEM (Previously known as Adobe CQ5)

·         Understanding of Java/J2EE

·         Oracle DB skills

mid level ETL developer –  Austin, TX; 6 month contract.

 

TITLE:   Mid-Level ETL Developer

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Experience working with SQL databases (preferably Oracle)

·         Experience working with ETL tools (preferably - SAP Data Services)

·         Ability to manage a significant workload with minimal supervision

·         Good interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

 

PREFERENCES:

·         Experience working with the Business Objects Data Services ETL tool

·         Business Objects universe development experience

·         Data Warehousing experience

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Perform analysis, design, coding, and testing of moderate to complex data warehouse programs and data extracts 

·         Use multiple Texas Medicaid data warehouse systems to perform job, works on multiple assignments concurrently, and complete work in queue by assigned due dates 

·         Use a range of proficient technical skills including SQL and ETL reporting

·         Combine technical skills with knowledge of Texas Medicaid systems and business processes to deliver effective solutions

·         Participate in pager/on-call support, deployment of production releases, and introduction of new services into production environment

·         Help identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

·         Regularly peer review the work of others and occasionally mentors others

·         May lead small to medium projects

·         Report time biweekly into appropriate time tracking mechanism in an accurate and timely manner consistent with project and employer guidelines

·         Complete all compliance training courses in a timely manner
