In the Agile Application Development group, you will work in small teams to directly contribute to innovative business capabilities, such as building the next generation point of service (POS) system for mobile devices. Responsibilities

• Design, implement and launch highly-visible features for our retail platform using Test/Behavior Driven Development practices

• Be a thought leader! Mentor, coach, and guide developers across the organization

• Continuously grow your skills and value through paired programming and code reviews

• Guide team members on the use of design patterns and adherence to code quality metrics

• Practice relentless automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery

• Make continuous improvement to our coding and test practices across applications

• Design data architecture and implement migration strategies

• Recommend and adopt new technologies

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design principles

• Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks. AngularJS is a must!

• Experience with WebServices technologies

• Experience with presentation layer technologies, including Javascript, HTML and CSS

• Experience developing automated tests

• Experience in relational database programming

• Experience with Java and J2EE 5+ years of development experience Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB

• Experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Spring)

• Experience with testing in Spring containers

• Experience with Cucumber, Ruby, Selenium, mocking, service virtualization or equivalent

• Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Electric Commander, Jenkins, Chef)

• Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware
