We are looking for a Sitecore consultant to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is 6 months Contract extendible Position based in US (Northfield IL).
Job title : Sitecore consultant
Location: US (Northfield IL)
Duration: 6 months Contract
Experience: 5 (sitecore experience only)
Skill :Sitecore 6.5 and above
Other Skills : HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and JQUERY, Responsive Web Design
Job Description:
Qualifications Basic
· Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.
Must have in-depth knowledge of Content Management
· Strong technical hands on knowledge of Sitecore including best practices and features.
· Good understanding of the CMS (IT) industry
· Good understanding of Web development, information architecture, CMS and integrated technologies
· Ability to map loosely defined business requirements to specific technical solutions
· Experience in design and development of multi lingual / multi country websites.
· Strong experience in high level and detailed solution design and buildvalidation.
· Experience in content migration projects
· Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and JQUERY, Responsive Web Design
· Strong ASP.NET C# experience (framework v2, v3.5, v4)
· Strong knowledge of IIS, Team Foundation Server
· Solid programming knowledge of the following databases (MS SQL Server and Oracle)
At least 5 years' experience in Sitecore CMS projects
· Data Infrastructure
· Content Items
· Presentation - specifically Web Controls
· Placeholder framework
· Rules framework
· Binding content and presentation
· Workflow engine
· Platform administration and tuning
· Experience in analyzing and resolving performance issues with Sitecore CMS
· Specifically for Sitecore, Sitecore API, Kernel and Sitecore. Client libraries. Sitecore concepts including Layouts, Sub layouts, Templates, CM/CD environments, Sitecore caching, Serialization, Sitecore configuration, Sitecore deployment, Security etc.
· Experience in Mobile Content Management Systems.
· Strong Analytical skills
· At least 2years of defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point
