Job Description:

Requirements for Senior Engineer for CITRIX Engineering..

Min 5 years' experience working in a large datacenter centric environment

Extensive experience and comfort troubleshooting and supporting

•Citrix Xenapp (4.5,5.0,6.0 and 6.5) and XenDesktop solutions

•All flavors of Microsoft OS (configuration, troubleshooting, automating)

•Microsoft domain technologies(AD, replication, dns, wins)

•Networks and connectivity in a complex environment with firewalls, proxies etc

•Server recoveries and/or DR testing

•Web technologies (IIS etc)

•vendor and in house written applications, from a server infrastructure point of view

 

Core Skills required

•Superior thinker, ability to troubleshoot and improvise solutions

•Ability to act as liaison between PMs, business areas, and other technical areas to bring a new CITRIX application from initial testing stages through integration and into live production in the data center.

•Ability to articulate thoughts clearly and communicate well with customers

•Ability to manage small to medium sized server projects, directing staff and gathering needed deliverables from other teams

•Ability and willingness to document configurations, solutions and standards  for publication  

 

Items that would be a PLUS

•Experience with Server blade technologies (HP or cisco ucs)

•Experience with user (Active directory) migrations

•Experience with virtualization projects like  VDI

•Experience with other hypervisors

•Experience with Scripting (VB, Powershell)
