Ø Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Test Methodologies from project definition to post-deployment documentation
Ø Expertise in designing and developing strategic Test plans, Test Cases, and Test Reports for manual tests.
Ø Preparing test cases for the system covering SRS document, design document, reviewing them with the developers and finalizing the test cases.
Ø Extensive experience in Manual Testing like Quality Center
Ø Extensive work experience on Functionality Testing, GUI Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Black Box Testing, Ad-Hoc and End to End testing.
Ø Expertise in creating test cases from requirements document, use cases and from a prototype or an existing application
Ø Experience in using Mercury Quality Center for writing the test cases, executing the test cases and defect reporting.
Ø Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the Waterfall Model and good understanding of Agile Methodology.
Ø Proficient in SDLC including test strategy preparation, test plan development, test case creation, test execution and bug tracking.
Ø Ability to develop and present test plans, testing summaries, defect reports, and defect trend data throughout the project test cycle.
Ø Used Quality Center to manage, coordinate and report defects.
Ø Interacted actively with the team in identifying bugs.
Ø Quick learner, Self-motivated and problem solving skills.
Ø Excellent technical & analytical skills as well as logical & reporting skills.
Ø Good team player with an ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment
Ø Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot problems and communicate those issues to the responsible parties
Ø Strong Communication and Documentation Skills
