PROJECT MANAGER WITH BUSINESS ANALYST EXPERIENCE (anyone with mutual funds and data warehouse experience will be perfect for this)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role will involve assisting with project management and business analysis tasks associated with the following projects.
Marketing Data Mart – mutual funds
Website Redesign and Content Management System
The role will require the person to document/design/development data modeling and data flows to a data hub. We then expect the person to develop workflows for data verification and approvals associated with the data hub. The associated extracts which will be then be developed to distribute the approved data to a web content management system (for our internal website) and also other external data destinations
The role will also assist with the acquisition and installation of the required infrastructure for a new Web Content Management system (CMS). This role does not need to help select the CMS or know how to use the CMS. That will be done by another group
We expect the PM/BA to establish project delivery requirements, develop effective delivery plans and successfully execute deliverables to meet customer objectives. In all areas, we expect the consultant to provide insights into industry best practices and trends based on experiences at other firms.
SKILLS:
· Working knowledge of SQL and Database Management systems to extract / test data in various databases.
· Knowledge of working with data marts / data warehousing with specific experience in workflows for website management.
· Broad knowledge of Buy Side Investment Management industry operations, investing strategies, security details and business control and support functions.
· Broad knowledge of IT, including experience in Change Management, Business Systems Analysis
· Solid technology background, including an understanding of technology-governance frameworks, and applications used in financial services
· Ability to display independent judgment to make decisions where no clear precedents exist; adjusts plans and deliverables with the right approvals and the business goals in mind. Ensures that all standards are followed and controls are adequately designed and implemented.
· Ability to work in a disciplined development environment, including the use of a project management methodologies and system development lifecycles
· Exceptional communication skills, written and oral, with demonstrated ability to create free-flowing information environment
· Capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and make decisions in a timely manner sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure
· Results-oriented and delivery-focused; achieves results under difficult conditions and demonstrates balanced judgment under pressure; sets high performance for self
· Pragmatic and persistent, with an orientation towards urgency and driving to results. Ability to overcome resistance and earn the respect of the key stakeholders to be successful

· Investment industry experience preferred
