Role: Agile Lead/PM
Work Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 3-4 months initially, might be extended
- Be expert on Agile practices and industry trends to enhance, evolve and maintain Agile adoption throughout the organization
- Create and manage an Agile maturity model
- Build and manage a master plan to grow and improve Agile practice
- Establish metrics to measure the benefits and maturity of Agile adoption and use within the programs
- Report out on status of the Agile program (goals, achievements, roadblocks, etc.) regularly to management and other stakeholders
- Engage in continual learning and development in Agile practices
- Be available to Agile team members for formal and informal mentoring, coaching and guidance
- Identify and train current personnel that can take on coaching roles on teams
- Coach extended stakeholders (internal) on Agile practices and engagement with Agile teams
- Define and rollout appropriate metrics to measure team execution
- Work directly with Tech Leads to execute on technology needs for the Agile program, such as continuous integration environments
- Work directly with Product and BA groups on effective client engagement, requirements elicitation and feedback gathering
- Establish standard terminology, tools and best practices for Agile projects, and help incorporate Agile within the extended stakeholder community
- Tailor specific recommendations to each Agile team's specific needs
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Experience working in a technical capacity (former SW Developer or QA Analyst who has moved into Project Management or Business Analysis is ideal)
- Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills
Desirable Technical Skills
Exposure in Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins and so on
Mandatory Functional Skills
Experience in practicing Agile in large programs
Desirable Functional Skills
Experience working with off-shore and on-shore model
Total Experience Required
10 - 15 years
