Job Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will be in the center of our enterprise implementation teams working with customers, project managers and development to ensure that smoothest possible delivery of our solution, to our largest staffing company clients.

•Work closely with our company clients to understand their unique business environments, processes and challenges, so that we may best configure our software to suit their unique needs.

•Participate in kick-off meetings, requirements gathering sessions, configuration workshops, system training, and system go-live sessions.

•Elicit and document their requirements using interviews, site visits, requirements workshops and task and workflow analysis.

•Provide demonstrations of our software to these clients in order to illustrate how the many different features can be setup for their particular implementation.

•Participate in system configurations based on clients' requirements. Configurations will require direct database interaction, thus requiring strong SQL skills.

•Participate in data mapping and conversion projects.

•Support and coordinate system implementations in conjunction with our Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle (analysis/design, testing, rollout).

•Facilitate a smooth transition to the support team for ongoing support once the customer is live and in "production mode".

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

•Significant experience implementing enterprise software applications (5 years minimum)

- of particular interest would be experience with CRM, ERP and large back-office software implementations as would experience with managing projects with resource budgets in the six-to-seven-figures arena.

•First class written, presentation and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable and experience in one-to-one situations, leading small meetings, presenting to large groups of senior C-suite executives and holding the room.

•Technically very strong with a comfort being in complex technical environments.

•Degrees in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems highly desirable.

•Ability to work with and influence cross functional teams.

•Working on high profile, highly visible projects.

The ideal candidate should be a senior PM with full end-to-end project experience. Waterfall methodology and SDLC Applications Development / Migration projects. 

 

The ideal candidate should be strong PM with experience in managing full SDLC Application projects-

  • Lead planning and/or implementation of projects.
  • May participate in the design and/or testing phases.
  • Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
  • Responsibility for assembling the project staff; for their technical or functional development, performance, and/or termination during the project or projects.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements.
  • Interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients and represent clients' needs as appropriate to senior management.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
  • Follow a defined, agreed upon project management methodology
  • Lead the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of plans and programs to meet the goals and priorities of the department.
  • Cultivate contacts with vendor requirement planners or developers — to obtain information about future vendor developments in the functional area and to try to influence those developments in ways favorable to the client.
  • Participate in outside professional activities to maintain knowledge on developments in the field.
  • Establish liaisons with universities and other comparable vendor users to keep abreast of status of computing and communications activities at these institutions.
  • Continuously improve project management toolkits and methodologies used within the client environment.
  • Provide expertise and consulting to project managers in the process of project management and in the softer skills of team dynamics, team building and group motivation.
  • Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.

Expertise in ASAP methodology:

 

?  Experience in at-least 3+ full-life cycle SAP ECC 6.0 HCM implementations

?  Expertise in gathering requirements, building design documents, developing functional specifications, setting up demo scenarios and presenting it to end-users.

?  Ability to recommend standard functionality available in SAP ECC 6.0 to reduce custom developments in existing version.

?  Strong expertise in HCM modules like Organizational management, Personnel administration, Enterprise Compensation Management, ESS/MSS, Employee Interaction center, HCM Processes and Forms

?  Extensive experience in HCM Enterprise Compensation Management Solution, along with integration to other HCM Modules.

?  Very strong understanding of different type of compensation plans that can be configured in standard SAP ECC 6.0

?  Configuring compensation plans, eligibility criteria's and establishing guidelines for each plan

?  Understanding of compensation related HCM info types and their usage

?  Experience supporting business in the annual compensation cycle planning and execution

?  Experience in migration of data from legacy systems to SAP HCM specific to compensation module

?  Experience in preparing training documents

?  Experience in training IT and business users on the ECC 6.0 functionalities being implemented.
